Ingredients
3/4 cup quick cooking or old fashioned (1 cup if me and my husband went to the gym)
3/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of soymilk
handful of nuts
sliced choice of fruit
Directions
Boil 3/4 cup of water with 1/2 cup of soymilk
Once boiling, lower heat and cook oatmeal for 1 minute (5 minutes for old fashioned)
remove from heat and mix 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
add in a handful of nuts of your choice (can be walnuts, or almonds, or pecans)
mix in fruit either sliced banana, chopped apples or raisins (raisins being my favorite)
pour in serving bowls, then drizzle with soymilk :) VOILA!
add apple spice - optional
versions vary to combat food fatigue: raisin walnut, banana almond, apple-pecan, cherry almond, raisin almond, banana walnut, nuts galore with chocolate chip, etc...
*actual oatmeal is darker than picture due to the cinnamon
